Dr. Zahir Ahmad Abad

Dr. Mohammad Zahir Ahmad Abad, the son of Mohammad Akram, was born in 1970 in Chahar Bulak district of Balkh province. He completed his primary education at a local primary school and finished his high school studies in Balkh province. In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Balkh University. In 2001, he entered the specialization program in General Surgery. In 2006, he completed the program and became a specialist in General Surgery. After completing his specialization, he was appointed as the Head of the Health Department of Balkh Province. In addition to this role, he has served as the Director of the Emergency Department and also as a certified trainer of national programs, including Basic Emergency Care (BEC) and MCM. He has extensive experience in the treatment of burn patients, surgical emergencies, and plastic surgeries. In 2022, he completed the advanced specialized program in Laparoscopic and Plastic Surgeries. Currently, he is serving as a specialist in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Laparoscopic Surgery at Kaihan Curative Hospital.
